Gugure! Kokkuri-san

Gugure! Kokkuri-san is a comedy and supernatural anime that has been serialized in Square Enix for the last month. It is based on a Japanese manga of the homonymous name. It is written by Midori Endo and it published by Square Enix in 2011.

The anime’s plot is about an elementary school girl named Kohina Ichimatsu. Kohina doesn´t has no friends and she lives totally alone in her house. Ichimatsu thinks that she is some kind of doll and she lives as one. Such is the case that she just eats instantaneous noodles because those are necessary for hey to recharge her battery (she works with rechargeable battery).

One day, Kohina decided to play the Ouija (Her Ouija is a paper sheet with letters and numbers hand-written with a pencil by her). She uses a Japanese yen as an Oracle to make contact with the spirits. After some attempts to make contact with the spirits she manages to summon a Kokkuri (a spirit of Japanese folklore).

Kukkori-san is a friendly and handsome fox spirit but he has an over-protective mother complex. When Ichimatsu sees Kokkuri-san standing on the door she questions him for his identity. After explaining her his true nature, she doesn’t believe him. She thinks that he is a hentai (perverted, degenerate or depraved) that wants to harass her.

Nowadays, Gugure! Kokkuri-san is a new anime and it is broadcasted on internet. If you enjoy of animes like Watamote!, Excel Saga, Haiyore! Niaruko-san, among similar others, you will enjoy every second of this anime.
